Who are eligible for sleeve gastrectomy?

I am overweighed and I want to know that who can get sleeve gastrectomy surgery? What are the eligibility criteria for the surgery? Is it risky? I want to know about these from experts. Thanks

danieltech1 		Sleeve gastrectomy is also known as vertical sleeve surgery which is a weight loss surgery. It is not suitable for all overweighed people. One thing you must remember, the surgery is not reversible. Therefore, it is mainly for those person who are on high risk for surgery.

Sleeve gastrectomy is generally performed on highly obese patients having BMI (Body Mass Index) of 40 or more. Sleeve surgery is really very effective for weight loss. If you fulfill the criteria then you can go for sleeve surgery.
